Abstract:
To provide a vibration control device for a railway vehicle, which can protect a motor against an excessive load and improve riding comfort in the railway vehicle.SOLUTION: A vibration control device 1 for a railway vehicle comprises: an actuator A having a cylinder body Cy that receives a working fluid to elongate/contract, a pump 12 that supplies the working fluid to the cylinder body Cy and a motor 15 that drives the pump 12 and is installed in the railway vehicle; and a control unit C that controls the motor 15. The control unit C has a protection function for forcibly stopping the motor when an index Hi indicating the excessively heated state of the motor 15 exceeds a first threshold value α, and controls energization of the motor 15 so as to lower the index Hi until the index Hi becomes equal to or lower than a third threshold value γ which is lower than a second threshold value β when the index Hi exceeds the second threshold value β which is lower than the first threshold value α.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
