To easily search for recorded data in a short time, and to effectively use it by simultaneously confirming and comparing the data while storing paper media without fail.
A data construction device generates an original chart from a paper medium with temporal change of physical quantity recorded thereon. A management server generates an outline, and the original chart and the outline are stored in association with each other in a data storage device. A time line is generated, indicating a zone on a time axis wherein the record exists with respect to the physical quantity. A list of physical quantity is displayed, receiving designation of attribute information including a character string relevant to the physical quantity from a client device through a communication server. In the client device, the designation of the physical quantity in the list is received, it is handed over to the management server through the communication server, an original chart, an outline, and a time line corresponding to the handed over physical quantity is received, and they are displayed on a screen.
