Abstract:
To improve strength in a deck installed outside of a building.SOLUTION: The deck comprises a deck material and a reinforcement member that reinforces the deck material. The deck material has a hollow section extending longitudinally. The reinforcement member has: an upper reinforcement material disposed in the hollow section of the deck material and opened downward with a nearly U-shaped cross section; a lower reinforcement material disposed in the hollow section of the deck material and opened upward with a nearly U-shaped cross section; and a bolt member attached from a lower surface of the deck material to the lower reinforcement material in the hollow section as a backing plate. The bolt member has its upper end in contact with an inner periphery lower surface of the upper reinforcement material. The upper reinforcement material has its upper surface in contact with an inner peripheral surface of a top wall of the hollow section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
