Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decomposing a polymer capable of decomposing a polymer at a low temperature in a short time, high in the selectivity of products, and also, small in an environmental load.SOLUTION: A polymer is composed in the presence of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of metal oxide and metal hydroxide by hydrothermal reaction. As the metal oxide, at least one kind selected from the group consisting of cerium oxide, aluminum oxide and zirconium oxide is preferable, and, as the metal hydroxide, cerium hydroxide is preferable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
