Abstract:
The method is for preventing deterioration of a bellows hose section between two exhaust pipe sections for a motor vehicle, with a middle flexible section (12) and two rigid and couplings (15). To prevent damage to the insulation (18) by the coupling edges, the compression of the insulation by the end couplings is limited to a set ratio. The couplings are connected to the bellows hose at an end section (15') of larger diameter. Claims include a bellows coupling using the method.
