Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt vibration detecting system and a belt vibration detecting method, capable of detecting vibrations of a belt without contacting with the belt, with a comparatively simple structure, and issuing an alert or stopping a belt drive device before the generation of spin vibrations, in a belt transmission mechanism transmitting power from a driving pulley to a driven pulley through the belt.SOLUTION: A gap sensor 21 for measuring a separation distance Ls from a belt 13 is provided in a first range R1 between a separation point Pa at which the belt 13 separates from a driving pulley 11 and a first position P1 separated from the separation point pa to a downstream side by a first distance L1 set in advance, or a second range R2 between a merging point Pb at which the belt 13 contacts with a driven pulley 12 and a second position P2 separated from the merging point Pb to an upstream side by a second distance L2 set in advance. The gap sensor 21 detects vibrations of the belt 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
