PURPOSE: To record a digital signal without being interfered with a EFM band by forming a no wobbling guide groove or the guide groove with a wobble frequency sufficiently smaller than an EFM band frequency in first, second recording areas.
CONSTITUTION: In an optical disk 20, an audio signal is recorded in the first area consisting of a first read-in area 11, a first program area 12 and a first read-out area 13, and the first area is rotated at a first linear velocity. The guide groove is formed so that the wobble frequency for controlling the rotation becomes 22.05kHz. Further, a video signal is recorded in the second area consisting of a second read-in area 14, a second program area 15 and a second read-out area 16, and the second area is rotated at a second linear velocity. The guide groove is formed so that the wobble frequency for controlling the rotation becomes 22.05kHz, too. Further, the fact that, when the wobble frequency is 22.05kHz or below, it is interfered with no FEM signal, is confirmed by an experimentation.
