Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frost formation suppression effect of a long time by completely removing frost formation from a surface of a heat exchange portion.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger of at least one embodiment includes a refrigerant pipe in which a refrigerant flows, and absorbs heat from air. The heat exchanger includes a heat exchange portion fixed to the refrigerant pipe, and provided with fine projecting portions and recessed portions on a surface in a manner that each of the projecting portions is formed in a spot while parted from the other projecting portions by the recessed portions, an ultrasonic transmitter irradiating ultrasonic wave toward the surface of the heat exchange portion through an air layer, and a control portion having a storage portion storing a map indicating a relationship of a height of frost formed on top faces of the projecting portions, an area of the top faces of the projecting portions on which front end frost is formed, and characteristic frequency of the frost formation, estimating the characteristic frequency of the frost formed on the projecting portions from the map, and transmitting ultrasonic wave of frequency capable of resonating the frost formation from the ultrasonic transmitter on the basis of the estimated characteristic frequency of the frost formation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
