Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidification device capable of increasing a coefficient of performance (COP) of a cooling device.SOLUTION: A dehumidification device 10 has, in a housing 11, a desiccant rotor 12, a regenerative air passage 16, a dehumidification air passage 15 and heating means 13. The desiccant rotor 12 enables: a hygroscopic body to adsorb moisture from air when the air is brought into contact with the hygroscopic body in the dehumidification passage 15; and the air to desorb the moisture from the hygroscopic body when the air is brought into contact with the hygroscopic body in the regenerative air passage 16. The dehumidification device 10 also has: cold air introduction means 17 which takes in a portion of cold air blown out through a cold air outlet 3b of a cooling device 3 performing cooling of an air-conditioning object space 1 and sends the cold air taken in from the cold air outlet toward the desiccant rotor 12 as a portion of the air for adsorption of the moisture by the hygroscopic body; and dehumidification air guide means 18 which guides at least a portion of the air, discharged toward the air-conditioning object space 1 with the moisture thereof adsorbed by the hygroscopic body, into the cooling device 3 so that the air is taken in through an air intake 3a thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
