Abstract:
An industrial delta-robot has a telescopic torque transmission system consisting of two shafts mounted in slip bearings and capable of moving parallel to each other. The shafts have articulated torque transmission heads. The shafts are so positioned that the initiating torque action is in one direction of rotation, and is transposed parallel to the terminating torque action. The arrangement facilitates the adoption of parallel transposition of the shafts without sacrifice of the telescopic action.
