Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce magnetism of an electronic component to be conveyed regardless of an attitude of the electronic component.SOLUTION: A demagnetization device 13 comprises a core 81 and a coil 91 that is wound around the core 81, and an AC current is supplied to the coil 91. The core 81 is disposed at a lower side of a taping electronic component string 33 (carrier tape 31) to be conveyed. The demagnetization device 13 forms an alternating magnetic field in a direction that is vertical to the carrier tape 31 (a vertical magnetic field and a first alternating magnetic field) and an alternating magnetic field in parallel with the carrier tape 31 (a horizontal magnetic field and a second alternating magnetic field). The first alternating magnetic field and the second alternating magnetic field that is orthogonal to the first alternating magnetic field, are applied to an electronic component 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
