Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demulsification method where an emulsion existing in a liquid is efficiently removed.SOLUTION: When an OH radical is applied to an emulsion existing in a liquid, a surface active substance on the surface of the emulsion is deteriorated. Oil droplets in the emulsion are exposed and can be separated by the deterioration. As a result, efficient demulsification can be realized. Fenton reaction by iron ions may be accompanied as the application of the OH radical. High salt concentration water accompanying in an oil field or a gas field can be used as an emulsion treatment liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
