Abstract:
To provide a dental handpiece which requires frequent detachment/replacement of a tip tool, does not require a complicated structure, and prevents breakage of an annular elastic body fitted to a whirl stop of a vibration cartridge.SOLUTION: A dental handpiece comprises a housing (1) and a vibration cartridge (2), the vibration cartridge has a whirl stop (21) protruded in a columnar state in a radial direction of a shaft. The housing has therein, a whirl stop storage part (11). The dental handpiece further has an annular elastic body (3) which can be detachably fitted to the whirl stop. A pressing surface of the whirl stop and a pressure reception surface of the whirl stop storage part, can hold linearly or in a planar state, the elastic body, in fitting or removal of the tip tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
