Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a descramble information providing device that is more difficult to be used for unauthorized descramble than a conventional B-CAS card although it is detachably attached to a receiver.SOLUTION: A CAS circuit board (3) includes: a ROM (33); and an FPGA (31) having a function to write an ID of a specific receiver (1) connected with the CAS circuit board in the ROM in a non-rewritable manner when the ID is not recorded in the ROM yet, and a function to check an ID of an apparatus connected with the CAS circuit board with the ID written in the ROM, and provide CAS information for the apparatus if it is determined that the apparatus is the specific receiver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
