To provide a detection device capable of suppressing a rise in cost.SOLUTION: A detection device comprises a rotary member 20 which rotates on an axis AX as a detection object is displaced, magnets 21a, 21b which are provided at hollow parts G1, G2 provided at the rotary member 20, a magnetic detection element 30 which detects a magnetic field changing as the rotary member 20 rotates, a case 40 which supports the rotary member 20 rotatably, and a non-magnetic member 50 which is arranged covering the magnets 21a, 21b at least in part. The case 40 has a shaft part 42 which is provided along the axis AX, and the magnetic detection element 30 is arranged at a space part 42b provided on the shaft part 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
