PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing agent for a dishwasher which does not easily spill out when a container containing the washing agent falls down and has excellent handleability, and a method for producing thereof, and a washing agent product packed in a squeezable container.SOLUTION: A washing agent for a dishwasher is composed of a paste composition, and is preferably composed of a composition comprising a metal chelator, a surfactant, and 8 mass% or more of a water-insoluble powder with an oil absorption of 200 mL/100 g or more. A washing agent product packed in a squeezable container in which the washing agent is packed in a squeezable container is also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None
