Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternative device for deforming a book jacket laterally extending and allowing equipment change easily and at low cost.SOLUTION: A device 1 comprises: a first deformation tool 8; a second deformation tool; an operation positions 7 for one of the deformation tools; static positions for other deformation tools; a counter tool; a tool beam 13; and a housing element 14. The device 1 further comprises only one actuator 9 for each of the deformation tools arranged at the operation position 7. A tool beam 13 for each of the deformation tools arranged at the operation position 7 is formed in a manner to be able to connect to the actuator 9. Each of the deformation tools comprises two forming rails 11, 11', 12, 12' which are separated from each other and laterally adjustable. The respective forming rails are configured to be adjustable to change respective intervals with respective opposite sides to become common.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
