Abstract:
The liquid globule manipulation method has small liquid volumes (5) under an electrical control. There is a substrate (1) with electrical conductors (2). An electrostatic force is applied to the liquid volume. The electrical conductor is a wire (3) place parallel to the substrate a set distance from the substrate allowing small volume liquid movement along the wire with electrostatic forces applied.
