Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an earthquake-proof device which is effective throughout a wide frequency band.
CONSTITUTION: A static pressure bearing 3 to slidably support a body 1 to be supported to a horizontal base board 2 through the feed of a hydraulic pressure is formed to the body 1 to be supported placed on the base board 2. A hydraulic pump 5 to feed a hydraulic pressure to the static pressure bearing 3 and an accumulator 13 connected to the stating pressure bearing 3 through a cutoff valve 10 are provided. A vibration detecting means 8 for the base board 2 and a means 7 to control operation of the cutoff valve 10 and operation of the hydraulic pump 5 based on detecting vibration are provided.
