Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for separating a breast bone ridge cartilage portion from a chicken bone.SOLUTION: An apparatus for separating a breast bone ridge cartilage portion comprises: a conveyance device for conveying a chicken bone in a direction orthogonal to a breast bone ridge as viewed from the front of a breast bone; a first blade that is disposed in the middle of a chicken bone conveyance route, extends orthogonally to the breast bone ridge as viewed from the front of the breast bone, and cuts off the breast bone ridge cartilage portion; a second blade that is disposed in the middle of the chicken bone conveyance route and on the downstream side of the first blade, extends orthogonally to the breast bone ridge as viewed from the front of the breast bone, and cuts a membrane extending between the breast bone ridge cartilage portion and a branch bone adjacent thereto; and a movement preventive device that presses the breast bone ridge cartilage portion cut off by the first blade to the second blade, and prevents movement in a chicken bone conveying direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
