Abstract:
The apparatus has two sets of nozzle pairs formed in a nozzle surface along a pair of rows, respectively, where each of the nozzle pairs comprises a blower nozzle and a suction nozzle. A nozzle surface (3) forms an air cushion (2) between the nozzle surface and a printing material sheet. The blower nozzle and suction nozzle are paired such that an air flow emitted by the blower nozzle is aspirated by the suction nozzle.
