Abstract:
The mechanism for transmitting a torque from a motor to a compressor, in particular, a compressor of an air-conditioning unit comprises an overload protection device consisting of a metal limiter ring (6) with internal radial protrusions engaging with the connector hub (7), and a plastic driver (5). Both the limiter ring and the driver are axially slidable on the hub.
