Abstract:
The device for the feed of a sheet to a printing press includes a chain conveyor with rear edge grippers fastened on an endless chain for transfer of the sheet from a cylinder. The rear edge grippers in the open state run past the cylinder (4), whereby the supports and points of the rear edge grippers lie beneath a track which describes that of the sheet held against the generated surface (26,27) of the cylinder. The rear edge grippers are closed in a rotational angle region in which the chains run off from the chain wheels (11) allocated to the cylinder.
