Abstract:
The method involves surrounding a spacer e.g. pipe, by a ceramic component (2) whose two opposing sides are made to flow with flue gas, where protective fluid e.g. gas, is supplied between the spacer and the ceramic component. The protective fluid is supplied at a hottest location or a bottom portion of the ceramic component. A gas sample is taken over the spacer, where temperature is set in a protection fluid space by controlling temperature of the supplied protective fluid and the protection fluid space. Heat exchange tubes are arranged in the fluid space. An independent claim is also included for a device for feeding spacer in an incinerator.
