Title:
A diagnostic device of an electric motor
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6099852
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Short-circuit diagnosis devices for electric motor stator windings have a difficulty in correctly, highly accurately detecting winding short-circuit malfunction, as a result of influence of load torque variation, power source imbalance, and contact failures on calculation parameters. An electric motor diagnosis device comprises a logical calculation unit (10) for performing determination of a winding short-circuit abnormality in an electric motor (6) by receiving outputs from a current detection circuit (9) for detecting a current of the electric motor (6) and from a voltage detection circuit (8) for detecting a voltage of the electric motor (6), and a display unit (13) for displaying occurrence of an abnormality and an external output unit (15) for reporting to the outside the occurrence of the abnormality, when the logical calculation unit (10) detects the abnormality in the electric motor (6). The logical calculation unit (10) determines and detects a winding short-circuit by distinguishing the winding short-circuit from power source imbalance, even when a load torque varies during operation of the electric motor (6), on the basis of a reverse-phase current, a reverse-phase voltage, a positive-phase current, and a reverse-phase admittance which are obtained through analysis of the voltage and the current of the electric motor (6).
