PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device obtaining a high quality image by preventing the defective transfer of an image.

CONSTITUTION: A dust removing part 30 elastically being in contact with the emulsion surface of a photosensitive material 5 and composed of an extra fine fiber fabric is provided in front of a water coating part 8. On the dust removing part 30, dust and the dregs of an emulsion stuck on the emulsion surface of the photosensitive material 5 are scratched off, and then, the material 5 is coated with water on the water coating part 8. On the other hand, a dust removing part 31 elastically being in contact with the image receiving surface of an image receiving material 6 and composed of the extra fine fiber fabric is provided in front of the superimposing part of the photosensitive material 5 and the image receiving material 6 on the carrying passage of the image receiving material 6. Thus, the dust stuck on the photosensitive material 5, etc., can be surely removed, and further, an image forming solvent is not stained so that the defective transfer of the image to the image receiving material 6 is prevented, and the high quality image is obtained.
