Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely adjust an electronic shutter as a front curtain with a shadow of a machine shutter, which changes in accordance with an attribute of an optical system unit.SOLUTION: A digital camera includes: an imaging element which receives light passing through an optical system unit and accumulates a charge; an electronic shutter which starts accumulation of the charge for each region of the imaging element; a machine shutter that interrupts the light which is made incident on the imaging element; a storage unit which stores front curtain control information which determines timing when the imaging element starts the accumulation of the charge for each region for each attribute of the optical system unit; and a control unit which controls the electronic shutter in response to the front curtain control information corresponding to the attribute of the optical system unit. The front curtain control information is edited on the basis of output of the imaging element for receiving the light passing through the optical system unit having the prescribed attribute and is stored in the storage unit.
