Abstract:
To provide a dimmer that does not require provision of a power supply unit for each of a plurality of dimming units.SOLUTION: A dimmer 100 comprises: a plurality of dimming units 16A, 16B; one power supply unit 12; and a plurality of full wave rectification circuits 13A, 13B. The power supply unit 12 generates voltage to be supplied to the plurality of dimming units 16A, 16B. The plurality of full wave rectification circuits 13A, 13B are provided so as to correspond to the plurality of dimming units 16A, 16B. Each of the plurality of full wave rectification circuits 13A, 13B rectifies voltage supplied from the power supply unit 12. Each of the plurality of dimming units 16A, 16B operates on the basis of voltage after rectification by a corresponding one of the plurality of full wave rectification circuits 13A, 13B and controls a conduction angle of AC voltage A1 using a trailing edge dimming method. The trailing edge dimming method is a method for controlling a phase SP for cutting off conduction of a half wave A2 of the AC voltage A1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
