Abstract:
To make a power consumption device consume power until current flowing through a power consumption element (e.g. resistance element) reaches a predetermined upper limit.SOLUTION: A monitor voltage converter 20 converts a voltage of a high potential line LH into a monitor voltage VM. The monitor voltage VM changes according to the voltage of the high potential line LH. When the voltage of the high potential line LH is equal to or more than e.g. 410 V, a control portion 100A generates a PWM signal VP1 which is a pulse wave. The PWM signal VP1 has a duty ratio which increases according to a rise of the monitor voltage VM and decreases according to a reduction of the motor voltage VM. Conduction and non-conduction of a switching element 31 are controlled by the PWM signal VP1. A power consumption element 41 consumes power by a current flow from the high potential line LH when the switching element 31 is conductive. A current adjusting portion 22 lowers the monitor voltage VM by only a voltage according to the amount of a current flowing to the power consumption element 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
