Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device, which allows a recording head to maintain normal ejection operation, even when the head is left in a decapped state.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device, which is equipped with: a recording head that has an eject port for ejecting ink, and ejects the ink to a medium to be recorded to perform recording; capping means that performs capping of the eject port of the recording head; detecting means that detects a decapping state of the capping means; and control means of ejection recovery means that performs ejection recovery operation of the recording head, further comprises ejection recovery operation condition deciding means that decides an operation condition for ejection recovery operation that the ejection recovery means performs (S105) according to decapping time (S101, YES;S103) and a temperature and humidity acquired by temperature/humidity acquiring means (S104), where the control means of the ejection recovery means controls the ejection recovery means according to the ejection recovery operation condition decided by the ejection recovery operation condition deciding means (S106).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
