Abstract:
To provide a displacement detection device for a workpiece support member of a rotary kiln capable of preventing occurrence of a trouble in taking in/out the workpiece, by simply and accurately detecting a displacement of the workpiece support member in a hot state, without lowering operation efficiency.SOLUTION: In a rotary kiln, a heater 13 is provided along the inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical furnace body 1, and workpiece support members 3 are provided to a rotary workpiece support rod 45 arranged along the central axis of the furnace body 1. Workpieces W are placed on the workpiece support members 3 through openings 11A-11C provided at one part in a circumferential direction, and the workpieces W are taken out of the workpiece support members 3 turned around, through the openings 11A - 11C. The rotary kiln is provided with imaging means 51A - 51C acquiring images of the workpiece support members 3 for every turning-around, and a processing unit 52 calculating the displacement of the images after turning-around to the images before turning-around acquired by the imaging means 51A - 51C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
