Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display image projection device and display image projection method capable of suppressing a decrease of an information amount to be displayed while increasing the luminance of display without increasing the luminance of light sources.SOLUTION: The display image projection device includes a plurality of light sources (22a to 22c), a plurality of micromirror devices (23a to 23c) for reflecting light from the respective light sources (22a to 22c) to perform scanning, and a control part (21) for controlling the plurality of light sources (22a to 22c) and the plurality of micromirror devices (23a to 23c). The control part (21) controls the plurality of micromirror devices (23a to 23c) so as to cause a scanning range to at least one prescribed light source among the plurality of light sources (22a to 22c) to be narrower than a scanning range to the light sources other than the prescribed light source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
