PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good balance between the followability of display of speed and the visibility of the display, and to display a speed in a manner where a driver does not feel a less strange feeling.SOLUTION: A displayed speed derivation device according to this invention comprises displayed speed derivation means 100 for deriving a displayed speed 208 from a moving speed 200 of a moving body. The displayed speed derivation means 100 comprises traveling state determination means 12 for determining a traveling state 204 of the moving body from the moving speed 200, and displayed speed decision means 16 for deciding whether to maintain or change the displayed speed 208 based on the determined traveling state 204 and moving speed 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
