Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle display device and display method that can clearly present viewers display images with a residual image occurring on a liquid crystal screen alleviated.SOLUTION: An acquisition unit 11 is configured to acquire a dynamic parameter about a vehicle, and a display unit 12 is configured to have an index 125 and a pointer 122 rotating around a base part 126 as a rotating center and pointing at the index 125 displayed by a liquid crystal. A display control unit 13 is configured to control rotating of the pointer 122 so that the pointer 122 points at the index 125 corresponding to a value of the dynamic parameter acquired by the acquisition unit 11, and the display control unit 13 is configured to further control brightness of an image of the pointer 122 so that a difference between the brightness of the image of the pointer 122 and brightness of a background image of the pointer 122 is made small toward an opposite direction opposite a rotating direction of the pointer 122, and toward a tip end from the base part 126 of the pointer 122.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
