Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to notice that a speed limit has changed while driving a car.SOLUTION: A speed limit on a driving road is detected and, when the speed limit has changed, an attention attracting image 45 corresponding to a changed speed limit is displayed on top of the rotation center of a pointer 443 of an analog speedometer 44 and then the attention attracting image 45 is moved toward a text expression 442 of the analog speedometer 44 matching the changed speed limit. Thus, by presenting a moving display of the attention attracting image 45 displayed at a visually confirmable position in the peripheral visual field of a driver, it is possible to call the attention of the driver to the fact that the speed limit has changed.
