Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicles with which it is possible to reduce parts management man-hours and improve productivity.SOLUTION: A tachometer TM has a first dial 25 on the surface of which is formed the scale of an area not including a red zone that is an area near the limit of an engine speed, an image display part 21 for displaying the image of a second dial 22 including the scale image of an area that includes the red zone, a dial 29 in which the first dial 25 and the second dial 22 are integrally composed, a pointer 26 pointing a scale on the dial 29 corresponding to an engine speed, and a drive part 27 for driving a pointer 26, the tachometer being provided with an information acquisition unit 27 for acquiring vehicle specification information in which vehicle specifications are reflected, a setting unit for setting a red zone on the basis of the vehicle specification information, and a display control unit for displaying, on the image display part 21, a red zone image indicating the red zone, together with the image of the second dial 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
