Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display for a vehicle that can display an image in an area where a decorative member is arranged and can prevent a reduction in appearance.SOLUTION: A display for a vehicle 1 is provided on an instrument panel of a vehicle and performs display toward a vehicle driver, and comprises: a half mirror 4 that transmits light from the front of the vehicle to the back of the vehicle and reflects light from a direction intersecting with the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle to the back of the vehicle; a decorative member 5 that is provided in the direction intersecting with the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle; a light emitting member 6 that irradiates the decorative member 5 with light; and a liquid crystal display 3 that is provided on the front side of the vehicle with respect to the half mirror 4 and projects an image to the half mirror 4. When a user visually recognizes the display for a vehicle from the front, the decorative member 5 is arranged to be a display that overlaps with the image projected from the liquid crystal display 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
