Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle, which can contribute to capacity reduction of a non-volatile memory.SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle comprises: display means 5 for displaying vehicle information; a non-volatile memory 3 for storing image data; a volatile memory 4 whose data transfer speed is faster than that of the non-volatile memory 3; and drawing means 2 for drawing an image corresponding to the vehicle information using the image data stored in the non-volatile memory 4 and displaying the image on the display means 5. The drawing means 2 has a first drawing function for reading first image data corresponding to first vehicle information from the image data stored in the non-volatile memory 3 and storing the same in the volatile memory 4, and for drawing an image on a first layer BF1a using the first image data stored in the non-volatile memory 3; and a second drawing function for drawing an image on a second layer BF2a using second image data corresponding to second vehicle information from the image data stored in the non-volatile memory 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
