Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicle in which presentation effect of a pointer control is remarkable.SOLUTION: A display device for vehicle is provided, the device including a pointer control unit. The pointer control unit controls a position, on a display screen, of a pointer relative to the rotation center so that a start control state in which the pointer starts operating when a start switch of the vehicle is turned from an off state to an on state is shifted to an indication control state in which a state of the vehicle is displayed by the indication of the pointer. The pointer control unit performs a first start movement in which the pointer in a halt at a lower position at first in the start control state is moved from the lower position in a normal rotation to a maximum position interposing a temporarily halt at a lateral position. After the first start movement, the pointer control unit performs a second start movement in which the pointer is moved from the maximum position to a zero position in a reverse rotation. After the second start movement, the pointer control unit is shifted to the indication control state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
