Abstract:
To provide a display device for vehicles with which it is possible to improve aesthetic appearance.SOLUTION: A display device 1 for vehicles comprises an annular decorative member arranged in an image display area 10, a light source for radiating light to the decorative member, and a virtual image display device for displaying virtual images 24, 25,32, 33 in the image display area. The virtual image display device performs first animation display for causing the virtual images 32, 33 imitating the decorative member to be animated from a position overlapping the decorative member while the light source is turned off or second animation display for causing the virtual images imitating the decorative member to be animated to a position overlapping the decorative member while the light source is turned off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
