Abstract:
To provide a display device for vehicles with which it is possible to improve aesthetic appearance.SOLUTION: The display device for vehicles comprises: an annular decorative member (11a) arranged in front of an eye point (201); a half mirror (62) provided between the eye point and the decorative member; a projection unit (61) for projecting a video to the half mirror and thereby performing animation display; a light source (63); and a control unit (64) for controlling the projection unit and the light source. The control unit executes a first operation for changing from a first display element that includes a fluxional element to a second display element that imitates the decorative member and causing first animation for superposing the second display element on the decorative member to be displayed by the projection unit and/or a second operation for causing second animation for changing from a third display element that imitates the decorative member to a fourth display element that includes a fluxional element to be displayed by the projection unit after superposing the third element on the decorative member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
