In the display device for a vehicle including a controller 3 inputting a signal on the accelerator operation amount of the vehicle and controlling a display unit 4 to display as vehicle information based on the signal, the controller 3 includes a memory storing the accelerator operation amount input in the past, calculates the difference between the accelerator operation amount stored in the memory before a predetermined time and the accelerator operation amount newly input as a variation, and controls the display unit 4 to display the vehicle information based on the variation.
