Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform suitable display until an engine is started from a getting-in action of an occupant.SOLUTION: A display device of a vehicle is mounted in the vehicle. The display device includes: a display panel for displaying information on the vehicle; a detection section for detecting a getting-in action related when an occupant gets in the vehicle; and a display control section for displaying the state of the vehicle as information on the vehicle on a prescribed display area of the display panel after driving source to travel the vehicle is started. When the getting-in action is detected by the detection section, the display control section starts a display operation for displaying an opening animation image on the display area of the display panel and continues the display operation until at least the driving source is started. The display control section displays an animation image for periodically repeating image display to change a display form of a graphic object as the opening animation image on the display panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
