Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper refining slag treatment method suitable for recovering valuable metal from copper refining slag with high efficiency, and a copper refining slag treatment method suitable for removing a harmful substance from the copper refining slag.SOLUTION: A method for recovering valuable metal from copper refining slag is provided that includes the following step 1 to step 3: a step 1 of oxidizing copper refining slag using oxygen-containing gas in the presence of flux; a step 2 of bringing a reactant after oxidizing obtained in the step 1 into contact with a Cu-Fe alloy bath; and a step 3 of subjecting the Cu-Fe alloy bath after contact obtained in the step 2 to a refining step to recover valuable metal, the valuable metal being at least one compound selected from an Fe compound, a Cu compound, an Ag compound, an Au compound, a Pt compound, an Mo compound and an Sn compound. A method for removing a harmful compound is also provided in which the harmful compound is at least one selected from an As compound, an Sb compound, a Zn compound and a Pb compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None
