Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline desulfurization method to produce a gasoline having a low total sulfur content and an ultralow recombinant mercaptan content.SOLUTION: The method involves: a) a step of gasoline fractionation; b) a step of hydrodesulfurization of a first heavy gasoline fraction from the step a); c) a step of partial condensation of a first desulfurization effluent from the step b); d) a step of separation of a liquid hydrocarbon phase from the step c to an intermediate gasoline fraction and a second heavy gasoline fraction; and e) a step of desulfurization of a second heavy gasoline fraction from the step d); wherein the method involves c') a step of separating dissolved HS of the liquid hydrocarbon phase from the step c) to obtain a liquid hydrocarbon phase having a low-solubility HS content to be processed in the step d), or, d') a step of separating the dissolved HS in the intermediate gasoline fraction from the step d) to obtain an intermediate gasoline fraction having a low-solubility HS content.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
