Abstract:
To provide a wet type treatment method for zinc leaching residue in which an arsenic removing stage is smoothly carried out even if treatment conditions in the prestage are varied.
In the wet type treatment method for zinc leaching residue obtained by leaching roasted ore in wet type zinc refining, when a first neutralized liquid obtained in a first neutralization stage is subjected to arsenic removal, a copper source substance such as copper sulfate, copper oxide and metal copper is previously added so as set the value of a Cu/As ratio in the first neutralized liquid to 1.5 to 4.0, and thereafter, zinc dust is added thereto, so as to produce RT copper residue.
