PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing mass spectrum data and a mass spectroscope with which it is possible to determine an abnormal value that impairs reliability in a mass spectrum.SOLUTION: The method of processing mass spectrum data comprises a measurement step, a calculation step, and a determination step. The measurement step involves measuring mass spectrum data from a sample multiple times under the same condition by mass spectrometry. The calculation step involves acquiring a numeric value obtained on the basis of data from each of the plurality of data measured in the measurement step, and calculating the average value and standard deviation of the plurality of acquired numeric values. The determination step involves determining a numeric value off an upper-limit value or a lower-limit value, the upper-limit value being an average value + 3σ, where the former is indicated by the average value and the latter is the standard deviation σ multiplied by 3, the lower-limit value being the average value - 3σ, as an abnormal value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
