Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating a metal-containing acidic aqueous solution enabling a predetermined noble metal to be precipitated and effectively recovered from metal-containing acidic aqueous solution containing palladium and one or more kind of selenium, tellurium, ruthenium, rhodium and platinum.SOLUTION: The method of treating metal-containing acidic aqueous solution is provided in which a temperature of acidic aqueous solution of a chloride bath containing palladium and one or more kind of selenium, tellurium, ruthenium, rhodium and platinum is adjusted to 60°C or more and sulfur dioxide is sprayed to the temperature-adjusted acidic aqueous solution to cause palladium concentration in the acidic aqueous solution to be 100 mg/L or less, then sulfurous acid or sulfite salt is added to the acidic aqueous to generate a precipitate containing palladium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
