To provide a treatment method of slag which can be suitably used for effectively suppressing the elution of fluorine from steel making slag and slowly cooled blast furnace slag and can be practised at a low cost without using a special apparatus, a treatment agent or the like.
In this treatment method of slag, a steel slag (B) which contains a mineral phase containing calcium and phosphorus and has the fluorine content of 0.15 mass% or less is added to a steel slag (A) which is one or more of slag selected from steel making slag and slowly cooled blast furnace slag and has the fluorine content of 0.15 mass% or more and fluorine is fixed in slag by forming a hardly soluble compound containing fluorine from components contained in steel slag (A) and steel slag (B).
