Title:
A disposal method of vegetable system materials
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5938979
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain plant fibers from a plant-based raw material, that is difficult to delignify, by oxidizing a lignin component contained in the plant-based raw material under mild conditions, the fibers containing cellulose and hemicellulose with less physical/chemical denaturation.SOLUTION: A plant-based raw material is delignified in a carboxylic acid solvent containing carboxylic acid, preferably acetic acid, and hydrogen peroxide under normal temperature and normal pressure. This invention enables bleached plant fibers with less physical/chemical damage to be produced without the need of a special apparatus, the treatment method being useful as a recovery method of the carboxylic acid solvent and lignin/plant components.
